You can also use it to export your games to these platforms using the build system. * iOS support is available for engine builds only, but will be expanded to support game export in the future.

Unlike general-purpose CI/CD solutions, W4 Build is built exclusively for Godot, making it easier to set up and use. It provides optimized workflows for building the engine and exporting games, reducing the complexity of managing Godot-specific builds.
Currently, W4 Build supports Git LFS, so if your project uses large files stored through Git LFS, you won’t encounter any issues.
Your sensitive data is securely stored on disk using encrypted and authenticated keys, ensuring that it remains protected. When needed, the data is accessible in its decrypted form for use by your applications. Even during backup processes, the same high level of security is maintained, preventing unauthorized access or tampering.

At launch, W4 Build will support Godot versions 4.2.2-stable and 4.3-stable. While you can compile your own version of Godot, it's important to consider how it integrates with other tools, such as the Android and macOS SDKs.
As soon as new Godot versions are released, W4Games will add them to the system. While this process isn’t instant, as it requires updating several dependencies (like SDKs), we ensure everything is fully integrated before launch.
Build times depend on the complexity of your project, selected platforms, and whether you’re building the engine or exporting a game. Generally, an engine build can take 30 minutes, game exports are faster.
For all types of projects (Godot game export, Godot Engine compilation), W4 Build can manage Git submodules. The only requirement is that the main project and its submodules must have the same access. For example, if your project is private and you’ve granted an SSH key, this key must have access to all the submodules as well.
For Godot projects, compilation can include custom C++ code, and these submodules should be managed as Git submodules. Once cloned, you'll need to pass a SCons variable to indicate where the submodules are located in relation to the root of your project.
