Description
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our dynamic startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing Odoo applications, with a heavy focus on custom development. You will play a key role in the full development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment of Odoo solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Odoo solutions based on business requirements.
- Modify and customize existing Odoo modules for additional features and functionality.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of Odoo modules with other business systems, the firm’s website, and external portals.
- Conduct module testing and debugging, ensuring high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Odoo applications.
- Document design, and code consistently and adhere to best practices in software development and W4 Games’ requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Odoo and Python programming.
- Provide training as necessary to other term members regarding Odoo functionality.
- We heavily rely on CRM, Sales, Website, Subscriptions, Accounting, Sign, Project, and Employee apps. You will primarily need to be experienced in customizing these apps.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Python programming, with relevant certifications being an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with external APIs, ensuring smooth data exchange and system integration.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS).
- Experience with software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ERP systems and business processes.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix server environments.
- Knowledge of containerized environments.
- Experience in using version control systems, mainly Git & Gitlab.
